10U Braves notch big win over Blue Devils

The 10U Brave players, coaches, and cheerleaders following Saturday’s big 29-6 win over Bremen White

(Franklin, GA) — The 10U Braves football teamed earned their first win of the season Saturday when they defeated Bremen White by a final score of 29-6 at Staples Stadium.

Ethan Tisdale led the way for the Braves with a huge day offensively.

The 9-year-old rushed for over 200 yards and scored four touchdowns. He also added an extra point rush to go along with a 2-point extra point pass play completion to Hunter Huey.

Huey also added an extra point rush as did Trevor Baker.

On defense Kayden Pike had a big first half interception and Bradford Hadley came up with a nice third quarter fumble recovery.

The Braves led 14-6 at the half. Baker had a solid game at fullback and outside linebacker for the Braves and Huey also excelled on defense.

Head coach Brent Tisdale was pleased to see his team find the win column. “I’m just proud of how we finally came out and got physical with somebody. We practice that hard during the week. Between this group and the 8U group I think we could have some fun teams to watch when they all get to high school.”

Tisdale says that his most improved player has been linebacker Payden Boogher.

“He really has some pop when he hits someone and we think he is starting to really understand the game more,” says Tisdale.

“Max Lasseter has been by far our best lineman this year,” adds the coach. “He can be fierce and nasty out there which is what you want from your lineman — but it is surprising because he is such a sweet little boy off the field.”
