(Atlanta, GA) — The Georgia State Patrol is reporting that 14 fatalities have occurred through Sunday morning during the official 102-hour holiday traffic period which began at 6:00 p.m. on Christmas Eve and will end at midnight Sunday.

Several of the deaths have occurred in the West Georgia area including a mother and her two children which were killed in a head-on collision on Hwy 113 just north of Carrollton Friday morning.
