2012 Election Qualification Fees for Heard County

At last week’s meeting of the Heard County Board of Commissioners the board approved the qualification fees for the elected county offices in the 2012 elections. The fees are set at 3% of the minimum base salary for the office positions with some exclusions.

The general primary election will take place on July 31, 2012 with a runoff date of August 21, 2012. The general election will take place on November 6, 2012 with a runoff date of December 4, 2012.

 

2012 Qualification Fees for Elected County Offices

1. County Commission Chair- $1,550.00

2. District County Commissioner- $120.00

3. Clerk of Superior Court- $1230.00

4. Judge of the Probate Court- $1230.00

5. Sheriff- $1410.00

6. Tax Commissioner- $1230.00

7. Judge of the Magistrate Court-$1230.00

8. Board of Education Member- $72.00

9. Coroner- $36.00
