Absentee Ballots Are Now Available

(Franklin, GA) — Are you a voter who is in the military on state-side or overseas duty?

Are you a voter who is in college living on campus? Are you a voter who is unable to go to the polls on Election Day?

Are you a voter who works out of town for extended periods? Are you a voter who is planning a vacation the week of the election?

If you can say “Yes” to any of these questions, then absentee voting is for you! If you have never received an absentee ballot, the process is easy.

You may call the Elections and Registration Office at 706-675-3907 and request an application to be sent to you.

You may also print out an application on-line. Go to http://www.heardcountyga.com/voterReg.html.

There you will find a link to a printable absentee ballot application.

The form must be signed and returned to the Elections and Registration Office. You may fax, e-mail, or send the form by traditional mail to:
