American Legion Members visit Nursing Home

(Franklin, GA) — Members of American Legion Post 148 in Franklin recently visited WWII and Korean Veterans living at the PruittHealth Care nursing home and presented the Veterans with several gifts.

Legion members presented gift bags, flags and boxes to the vets.

Post 148 members on hand were Durell Langley (Adjutant), Lawrence Lipford (Jr. Vice-Commander), and Wayne Miller (Chaplain).

Others assisting Post 148 in the endeavor included Lisa and Darrell Dunlap, Kathy Lipford, and Diane Cordell.

Post 148 is looking for Veterans not only here in Heard County but from surrounding counties to be members.
