Back the Blue Day – August 1

BTB Day(Franklin, GA) — The Beautifully Designed Ministry has over 16,000 women from all over the nation in their community.

On August 1st they are coming together for “Back the Blue” day.

The women and families are committing to go to their Law Enforcement Precincts that day and pray, give cards, bottled water, and pre-packaged snacks.

Right now they have almost 500 cities (and counting) and every state represented on August 1st.

A Franklin woman, Terrie Sikes, is organizing a local effort and accepting donations for “Back the Blue” day here in Heard County.

“My dad was a retired police officer and with all the officer related incidents that have been going on in our country, I believe that the officers need to know that they are truly supported by the public,” said Sikes this week. “This is just a way to show our appreciation to the law enforcement officers in our county.”
