The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series rolls on into Thunder Valley this weekend! One of the most anticipated races of the year: Bristol Motor Speedway. Here are the previews for this weekend’s action at “The World’s Fastest Half Mile”:
NASCAR Nationwide Series: Jeff Foxworthy’s Grit Chips 300
This weekend’s Nationwide race in Bristol is sure to be exciting! Some notable news coming into this race is the reinstatement of suspended driver Jeremy Clements. He will be back in the #51 this weekend. Some other notable driver news is Brad Sweet will remain in the JR Motorsports #5, Chris Buescher will be in the #16 for Roush Fenway, John Wes Townley in the #25 for Venturini Motorsports, and Michael McDowell in the #27 Toyota.
Bristol is always sure to deliver some very exciting, edge of your seat racing. Some guys I think will excel this weekend are: #54 Kyle Busch, #20 Brian Vickers, #22 Brad Keselowski, #7 Regan Smith, and #12 Sam Hornish Jr. My pick to win the race is the #54 of Kyle Busch. Kyle is back with Joe Gibbs Racing Nationwide program and he is by far the best driver at Bristol. Just a few years ago he completed the sweep of Bristol winning all the races that weekend. Kyle will be strong this weekend and I believe he will secure the #54 Monster Energy Toyota’s second win this weekend.

( Photo by pyramidracing.com)This weekend is one of the most anticipated races of the Sprint Cup schedule. Bristol always brings out the action and drama. Three drivers are absolutely dominant at Bristol, each having 5 wins a piece: Jeff Gordon, Kurt Busch, and Kyle Busch. Recently, Brad Keselowski has also shown his knack for winning there.
I believe one of these four will be victorious this Sunday as well. They practically own Bristol and every time a race is here, they are the favorites. My overall pick to win this race is Kyle Busch. I think he will complete the sweep of the weekend. Kyle is the best current driver at the track and I believe he will get an early season win and move even further up in points.
