Benefit For Tricia Johnson

(Franklin, GA) — Tricia Johnson is a 26 year old wife of Bryan Johnson, a lineman for Pike Electric. She is also the mother of three beautiful girls, ages eight, five and one.

Tricia was recently diagnosed with Chondrosarcoma, a type of bone cancer, that was found in her skull.

In early February, she had surgery to try and remove the tumor. Even though the doctor felt confident that he was able to remove most of the tumor, the doctors wanted Tricia to do radiation to ensure any remains of the tumor would be taken care of.

Due to the type of radiation needed, Tricia will have to go to Jacksonville, Florida and stay there for the duration of her treatments.

Circumstances like these can be mentally and financially challenging for a family. In light of that knowledge, we would like for our community to come together and try to ease that part of the burden for them.

On April 28, 2018 at the Centralhatchee Elementary School old gym, we will be having several bluegrass groups coming to sing, and will be holding a live auction.

We will have several unique handmade items to auction off, as well as lots of generous donations from businesses around the area.

We will be doing a 50/50 raffle, as well as having a prize raffle. We will have food and drinks available for sale, and a bouncy house for kids to enjoy.

We will be holding a benefit ride from 2 – 4 pm that will leave from school and travel to Wedowee, AL and back. The singing/auction will be held from 4-8 pm.

Please plan to come out and enjoy an evening of food and fellowship, and help show support for Tricia and her family.

All proceeds from the events will be donated to Tricia and her family to help with medical expenses.

If can’t make the benefit and would like to donate please call Debra Summerlin at 770-854-4949 or 770-301-9414 for information.
