Heard County Girl Scout Troop #13324 was on hand in front of Piggly Wiggly and the Franklin Pharmacy Saturday morning looking to satisfy the local population’s sweet tooth with some of their famous cookies.

The girls had all the classic favorites on hand including Trefoils, Thin Mints, Savannah Smiles, Samoas, Tagalongs, and Do-Si-Dos.

According to troop leader Candice Collier, the sales went very well and they were expecting to run out of cookies at about noon. The girls arrived bright and early at 8:00 a.m.

The brand new troop was formed only a few weeks ago.

When asked what their favorite kind of cookie was, the girls on hand almost unanimously chose the Tagalongs which are cookies with soft peanut butter and coated with chocolate. They also very unanimously voted that girls scouts are way better than boy scouts.

Girls Scout Troop #13324 would like to thank the community for its wonderful support in this year’s cookie sale drive.
