Braves Travel to Temple for Important Region Game

In a game where the outcome will be very important for Region 5-AA playoff seedings, the Braves will travel tomorrow night to Temple High School to take on the Temple Tigers.

The Tigers have started strong this season at 4-1 (2-0 in region) and will be very fired up at a chance to find some revenge for last year’s 47-20 trouncing at Staples Stadium by the Braves.

Coach Barron’s squad, which has suffered several injuries, will start 15 underclassmen in the game which will kickoff at 7:30.

Currently, the region standings see Carver, Callaway, and Temple in a three-way tie for first at 2-0 followed by the Braves and Spencer who each are at 1-1.

All region teams are scrambling to avoid the #4 seed which would likely mean a trip to the University of Buford in Round #1 of the state playoffs. This will be the first of four consecutive road games for the Braves.
