(Franklin, GA) — Local authorities are asking for the public’s help finding a wanted man.

Franklin police say 41-year-old Christopher Eric Cook has outstanding warrants for Aggravated Stalking and a felony charge of making Terroristic Threats.

According to FPD Lt. Tino Brooks, investigators are unclear if Cook is currently armed but say that he should be considered armed and dangerous based on his recent activities involving a weapon.

Cook may be operating a dark blue 2007 Ford F-250 with Georgia license plate RXY-8808.

Anyone who sees Christopher Eric Cook is encouraged not to approach him, but to call 911 immediately.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts can also call 706-675-6624.

A warrant was issued for Cook on the Aggravated Stalking charge March 10.

Authorities attempted to serve the warrant and arrest Cook on Monday, March 15 when he fled into a large wooded area near Redland Road.

Cook was in possession of an assault rifle at the time, but authorities are unclear if he still possesses a firearm at this time.

He is not believed to be in the same wooded area and may or may not have left the county.

Several communications to Cook by authorities attempting to negotiate with Cook to turn himself have thus far been unsuccessful.

The felony Terroristic Threat charges were added after Cook communicated threats of domestic violence this weekend.
