Franklin Police Seek Identity of Theft Suspect (Updated)

3:08 PM Thursday Update: According to Lieutenant Tino Brooks, an arrest was made in this case Thursday afternoon. The Franklin Police Department would like to thank all of those citizens for their help in solving the crime.

(Franklin) — Franklin Police Department investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a recent theft at a local business.

According to FPD Lieutenant Tino Brooks, a woman’s purse was taken at Mack’s Coin Laundry Sunday night around 8:00 p.m.

The owner of the laundromat is offering a $100 reward for information on the identity of the suspect leading to a conviction.

    I do not know his identity but this looks like the man that ask us for money at Cracker Barrel in Lagrange last night in the parking lot . He said he needed to get to Hogansville .

    • Well you’re wrong..it wasn’t him he has his own vehicle, a job, and lives in Franklin. I can assure you the man pictured is not the guy who you’re describing.
