Locations of the freeze warning include portions of North and Central Georgia with¬†temperatures expected to drop down into the mid 20’s to near freezing overnight and into the early morning.

Impacts of the freezing temperatures can affect people, pets, and plants. Water pipes are also at risk due to exposure, and should be protected from the freezing temperatures.

Temperatures will reach the upper 40’s tomorrow during the day before sinking back into the mid 20’s Friday night.

Fans and other spectators planning to attend tomorrow night’s football playoff game at Heard High School are encouraged to bundle up with temperatures at kickoff (7:30 p.m.) expected to be in the low to mid 30’s and falling to near freezing towards the end of the game.
