Heard County authorities ask for public’s help to ID burglary suspects

(Franklin) — The Heard County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying suspects in two recent burglaries of local convenience stores.

According to Sergeant Dan Boswell, a yellow crowbar was used to break into Pop’s Grocery in Corinth and the County line One Stop during the early morning hours of December 23, 2013.

Boswell states that both burglaries occurred between 2:30 and 3:30 a.m.

“We¬†have a couple of photos taken from surveillance cameras of two of the suspects and the car they were in,” said Boswell. “There was also a third person involved, a driver that never exited the vehicle. Any persons that can ID these suspects will be kept confidential.”

Boswell asks that anyone with any information about these suspects call the Heard County Sheriff’s Office at (706) 675-3329.

Pop’s Grocery is located at 375 Georgia Highway 100 between Franklin and Hogansville.
