Heard County authorities seek shooting suspect

(Franklin, GA) — Investigators with the Heard County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in locating a white male suspect involved in a Sunday night shooting on HWY 34 east in Heard County.

Authorities are seeking the apprehension of 34-year-old Roger Thomas Hill.

According to a report by HCSO Investigator Mike Soprano, Hill is wanted on charges of Aggravated Assault after allegedly shooting another man during an argument.

The male victim was transported to a hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Roger Thomas Hill stands 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds.

The suspect has brown hair and blue eyes and a barbed wire tattoo on his right arm.

Hill is considered armed and dangerous. Investigators advises that anyone who comes in contact with him not approach and immediately call 911.
