Important details and online viewing instructions for Heard County’s 2017 Graduation

(Franklin, GA) — HHS faculty, staff, and students are eagerly preparing for the 2017 Heard County High School Graduation Friday night at Staples Stadium.

Final preparations have been ongoing all this week to celebrate that big day for around 145 students expected to receive their diplomas and walk across the stage tomorrow night.

The 8:00 PM commencement exercises at the only high school in the county is one of the most attended events in the county each year, and school officials are encouraging those planning to attend to carpool if possible.

Gates will open at 6:30 PM and students and patrons are asked to park in designated zones at the school to help with traffic flow.

Graduates are asked to park in the lot behind the tennis courts while faculty members are encouraged to park directly in front of the main office adjacent to Franklin Parkway.

Handicap parking will be available next to the baseball field and the main school parking lots have been designated for general public parking. No one will be allowed to enter the school via the street near the Franklin City cemetery. (See parking map below)

Those unable to attend the ceremony in person will be able to watch online via the cube app/website. You will be asked to set up a free account to watch online and officials encourage you to do so as soon as possible to avoid missing the huge event.
