Suspects Sought in Smash-and-Grab Store Robbery

(Franklin, GA) — The Franklin Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a smash-and-grab burglary at a local convenience store early Wednesday morning.

The burglary took place at Jordan’s Quick Stop which is located at 2468 Franklin Parkway in the city of Franklin.

According to a report issued by Chief Kevin Hannah, the two males entered the convenience store at 2:42 AM on Wednesday, October 11 by throwing a large rock through the front door glass.

The two suspects then allegedly took the cash drawer and a large amount of Georgia Lottery scratch-off tickets.

Surveillance video indicates the two unknown suspects were inside the store for approximately 20 seconds before leaving the scene in a silver or white in color late model 4-door car (possibly a 2010 Volkswagen Jetta).

Hannah states the alleged suspects appear to be between 20 and 30 years old with medium-toned skin color.
