Two suspects at large, one in custody following Bowdon homicide

(Bowdon, GA) — The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a suspect in a weekend homicide, but continue to search for two additional suspects who remain at large.

Bowdon police contacted the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office to assist in a homicide investigation in the 300 block of Angela Drive early Sunday morning.

A witness told authorities that shots were fired during a house party.

The victim, identified as 19-year-old Christopher Parker, was found shot to death.

According to a CCSO press release, witnesses say the at-large suspects were last seen driving an older model, dented, silver Honda Accord.

An officer later spotted the same vehicle going Northbound on HWY 61 towards the Villa Rica area.

The deputy performed a traffic stop, two of the suspects ran away, but the driver was taken into custody. A gun was located inside of the car.

The driver was identified as 20-year-old, Odarian Bailey. Bailey is charged with murder, malice murder, and aggravated assault.

A perimeter of the location was set up upon additional units’ arrival and a K-9 search was performed. The extensive search did not yield the two suspects location.

The two suspects who are at large are identified as 18-year-old Cameron Allen and 18-year-old Jadarakis “JD” Caldwell, age 18.

They are considered armed and dangerous and the public should not approach but call 911 immediately.
