Heard County High School’s chorus class will present the third annual “Broadway Comes to Franklin” show on Monday, April 30 at the old recreation department with an encore performance on Monday, May 7. Both shows will start at 8 p.m. and will last around an hour.

The cast consists of nearly sixty students that are overflowing with talent ranging in age from fourteen to eighteen.

This year’s show features songs from eighteen different musicals including “Grease,” “South Pacific,” “Phantom of the Opera,” “Mama Mia,” and “Wicked,” just to name a few.

Chorus director Nancy Heard stated “I am very excited about this year’s show.

It has come together exceptionally well and these kids have worked their tails off.” The show contains eight full cast numbers along with multiple duets and solos.

Student director Gracie Rowe commented “This year’s show will be the best one yet. We’ve expanded our cast and it has really helped out our whole production. Come out and see Broadway Comes to Franklin!”
