Carroll and Coweta County DA Offices to host blood drive

(Franklin, GA) — Every April, communities across the United States come together to honor and support victims of crime and increase awareness about victim’s rights.

This year, the Victim Assistance Program with District Attorney Herb Cranford’s offices will be observing National Crime Victim’s Rights Week by hosting their 7th annual Red Cross Blood Drive.

The Victim Assistance Program encourages everyone in the community to come to donate blood and learn more about their program.

Donors will also receive a free T-shirt and a goodie bag.

The events will be held on Friday, April 12th.

The Coweta County DA’s Office announced their drive will be held inside the Justice Center in Cranford Hall from 10 AM until 3:00 PM. The Justice Center is located at 72 Greenville Street in Newnan.

The Carroll County DA’s Office will be hosting their blood drive at the Carroll County Courthouse in the Jury Assembly Room from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. The Carroll County Courthouse is located at 323 Newnan Street in Carrollton.

To register early, visit redcrossblood.org and use sponsor key CCDA, or call the District Attorney’s Office in Newnan at 770-254-7300 or the Carroll County office at 770-830-2171, and ask to speak with a Victim Advocate. Walk-ins are also welcome on the day of the blood drive.
