(Carrollton, GA) — The Carroll EMC Foundation recently awarded the Heard County Sheriff’s Office with a $500 Impact Grant.

The objective of the Carroll EMC Foundation is to provide assistance to area organizations and projects whose primary purpose is to improve the quality of life for residents in communities located within our service area.

A Board of Trustees oversees the Foundation and the funding efforts to programs like Bright Ideas, scholarships, school programs, and local community and civic efforts.

Operation Round Up is a voluntary program that allows Carroll EMC Members to have their electric bills rounded up to the next highest whole dollar.

Although a donation of less than a dollar may not sound like much, this “small change” given on a regular basis amounts to big support for our local communities.

For more information on how to enroll in Operation Round Up or apply for a grant, visit the Carroll EMC website and click on ‘MyCommunity’ and then ‘Operation Round Up.’
