(Lagrange, GA) — Troup Trends magazine, a quarterly publication of the LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce, has earned an Award of Excellence in the 2016 Awards for Communication Excellence competition sponsored by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE).

The Awards for Communication Excellence recognize outstanding communications efforts by chambers of commerce. This year’s competition drew almost 200 entries from across the United States and Canada.

Entries were divided into two classifications based on budget size and four categories of chamber communications:  Advertising & Marketing, Publications, Electronic and Campaigns.

The LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce was one of only 43 chambers to receive an award nationwide.

“We are very excited to be recognized, especially among so many chambers across the country,” stated Page Estes, President of the LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce.  “I’m very proud of our marketing team and appreciate the support of our advertisers that make this publication possible.”

Now in its third year, Troup Trends magazine has been the voice of the LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce and its members.

Focusing on important developments and emerging trends, the publication features in-depth stories on topics of interest to business and serves an important role as the source of information for community leaders in Hogansville, LaGrange, West Point and across West Central Georgia.

More than 2,200 copies of each issue are distributed to chamber members, prospective members, advertisers, and community partners. The publication is also available online at www.lagrangechamber.com. Each issue averages more than 10,000 exposures.
