City of Ephesus Election Information

manchester-elections(Ephesus) — The City of Ephesus will hold elections for Mayor, City Council, and City Recorder this year.

Qualifying for office for the City of Ephesus will be September 1 – September 3. Qualfiying times will be from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM each day. Qualifying will be held at Ephesus City Hall.

Qualifying fees are $36.00 for Mayor, $36.00 for City Recorder, and $18.00 for councilpersons.

In Ephesus, candidates for councilperson must choose which post they will run for.

The current Mayor is Denny Rogers, the current City Recorder is Dan Harrod, and the current city council members are Aubin Cumbie, Paul Gosdin, Ray Gosdin, Donna Henderson, and Tony Rogers.

Election day is November 3, 2015 and the polls will be open 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.

The registration deadline to be able to vote in the election is October 5, 2015. Early Voting for the election will be October 12 – October 30, Monday – Friday. Early Voting will take place at Ephesus City Hall and will be during regular business hours.

Paper absentee ballots will be available October 12. Anyone who wishes to receive an absentee ballot must contact city hall.

The Board of Registrars will rule on any provisional ballots cast in the election.
