Community Easter Egg Hunt

DSC03322(Franklin) — The Heard County Sheriff’s Office held its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Brush Creek Park.

Over 5000 pieces of candy, plastic eggs, and prize eggs were hidden throughout the park for the children to find.

The Easter Bunny made his appearance again this year by patrol car.

“I would like to thank park manager, Steve Lane, and the Heard County Board of Commissioner’s for their upgrades and upkeep of Brush Creek Park. I also want to thank all those who donated eggs, candy and money towards this yearly event,” stated Heard County Sheriff Ross Henry.

“I would also like to thank Franklin Police Chief Kevin Hannah and my staff for all their hard work to make this a fun event for the children in our county,” added Sheriff Henry.
