(Columbus, GA) — The Braves dropped a close non-region game on the road Tuesday falling 3-2 to the Class A private Brookstone Cougars.
The Braves rallied from a 3-0 deficit with two runs in the top of the sixth before the Cougars closed the door to take the one run win.
Tray Owens started the game for the Braves and threw five innings and giving up three earned. He scattered seven hits and walked just one while striking out four.
