Duranta is one of 98 rising seniors throughout the state who was selected to participate in this prestigious postseason game that will be played at Grady High School in Atlanta with a 1:00 pm kick-off.
The Georgia Junior Bowl is the first all-star football game of its kind showcasing the top high school football players in the state of Georgia. The purpose of the game is to enhance student athletes’ recruiting exposure before their senior year and to aide in the their development academically, athletically and socially.
In addition to the game itself, which will feature the top prospects statewide from the Class of 2014, RisingSeniors.com has formed an alliance with the NFL Players Association to introduce a character and life skills development program designed to provide resources to assist students dealing with the challenges ahead.
The camp covers several different categories with each topic presented by professionals in their respective fields. Some of these topics include NCAA compliance, Sports/Social Media training, and SAT/ACT test prep strategies just to name a few.
The AT&T Junior Bowl is held in association with AT&T, the NFL Players Association, Rawlings, the NFL, and Curing Kids Cancer. Jake Edwards competed int the game last season which contributed to his exposure that ultimately landed him a scholarship with UGA.
