Early Voting hours for upcoming May Elections

(Franklin) — The Primary and Non-Partisan election is right around the corner. Early Voting begins April 30 and continues until May 14. Election Day is May 22.

Early Voting dates and times for the Primary and Non-Partisan Election are as follows:


April 30 – May 4: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

May 7 – 11: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

May 12: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Saturday Voting)

May 14 – 18: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

All Early Voting will take place at the Heard Health Center located at 1191 Franklin Parkway.

Early Voting is a great way to avoid crowds on Election Day. You can run your errands in town and vote all at the same time!

Saturday Voting on May 12 is especially convenient, as you can exercise your right to vote without having to rush to or from work.

The Board of Elections & Registration continues to accept applications for absentee ballots by mail.

If you are unable to go to the polls or will be out of town during the election, you may request an absentee application by calling the Registrars Office at 706-675-3907.

Notice of Changes in Polling Places

NOTICE:  The polling place for the Centralhatchee Voting Precinct has been changed to:

Centralhatchee City Hall and Community Center
Ground Floor
715 Centralhatchee Parkway
Franklin, Ga 30217

All current voters in the precinct will be notified by the issuance of new precinct cards.

NOTICE: The polling place for Early (Advance) Voting has been changed to:

Elections and Registration Office (located in Heard Health Center)
1191 Franklin Parkway
Franklin, Ga 30217

Early (Advance) Voting will be held here until the renovation of the Heard County Courthouse is complete.
