Election Day in Heard County

(Franklin) — The polls will be open all day today at both the Heard County Courthouse and Franklin City Hall.

Three seats on the Board of Commissioners will be up for grabs in the county as well as three school board seats although each school board candidate is running unopposed.

At City Hall, City of Franklin voters will have the chance to vote on an alcohol referendum which would allow for the pouring of distilled spirits in restaurants within the city limits.
