Ephesus Library hosts Author and Nashville Singer/Songwriter

(Ephesus) — On Tuesday night, April 14th, Ephesus Library was host to author Frye Gaillard and Nashville singer/songwriter Anne E. DeChant.

Gaillard read excerpts from his book, Watermelon Wine: Remembering The Golden Years of Country Music, and DeChant filled in performing songs she had written, some co-written with Gaillard.

Frye Gaillard is an award-winning journalist with more than a dozen books on Southern culture and history to his credit.

Anne E. DeChant has written and recorded many songs over the years, one that was featured in 2 movies, “Girls and Airplanes.”

She has opened for artists such as Norah Jones, Stevie Nicks, and the Indigo Girls.
