(Franklin, GA) — An escaped inmate is back in the Heard County jail after escaping from a work detail overnight Monday and this time he is joined in jail by his mother.
According a report by Heard County Sheriff’s Office investigator Sgt. Dan Boswell, 27-year-old Joshua Glenn Gullatt was working a cleaning detail just around midnight when he escaped through a door.
Gullatt next made his way to the car of his mother, identified as 54-year-old Kathy Lynn Pence, who was parked nearby the facility. He was being held at the Heard County Jail awaiting transfer to the Coweta County work release program after being sentenced on burglary charges last month.
