FREE Summer Basketball Camp Underway at HCPR

A FREE Summer Basketball Camp is underway this week at the Heard County Sports Complex on Thompson Rd.

The camp, which will continue over several weeks in June and July is open to all Heard County kids ages 6-18.

From now through June 28th the camp will run on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 12-2pm for the boys and 2-4pm for the girls.

Parents who have both males and females may drop both the boys and the girls at 12pm and pick them up at 4pm.

After the July 4th holiday week the camp will continue from July 9-19. Campers will enjoy free snacks each day and on the last day of the camp (July 19) the children will enjoy a pizza party and games to celebrate.

Campers are required to wear appropriate gym attire and gym shoes. The camp will focus on fundamentals and development.

Parents are required to sign a release form before participation.
