FREE Tax Seminar at the Franklin Community Center

(Franklin, GA) — The Tax Cuts & Jobs Act which President Trump signed into law on December 22, 2017 is the most significant change to the Internal Revenue Code since 1986.

This law reduces tax rates for individuals and corporations, doubles the standard deduction, eliminates personal exemption, and repeals many deductions in an effort to simplify tax filing.

Understandably, many people have questions and concerns about the new tax laws.

Heard County Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Stephens & Stephens, CPA to offer a free tax seminar.

In this seminar Chuck Stephens will discuss the most notable changes taking place after December 31, 2017 that will affect individuals, as well as, businesses.

There will be a question and answer session following Mr. Stephens’s presentation.

The seminar will be January 30, 2018 at the City of Franklin Community Center from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Light refreshments will be served.

We need a definite commitment of at least 15 participants to make this event possible.

For more information or to make your reservation visit or contact Renai Brock with the HCCC at 706-675-0560.
