(Centralhatchee) — The faculty and staff along with Principal Carol Thomas celebrated the end of Mrs. Ginger Stutts’ treatments for cancer.
Mrs. Stutts was honored with a Giving Tree, a delicious home-made luncheon, and with each faculty member dressing in dark blue to bring awareness to colon cancer and the need for early detection.
Ginger Stutts has dedicated her life to teaching and has been with Heard County Schools for 28 years. She is an inspiration to all who know her and her strength is a lesson in courage for us all.
We are all happy that on February 7th, Ginger rang the bell at the cancer center giving hope to those patients undergoing chemotherapy and letting them know there is an end to this journey.
Pictured with Ginger Stutts are fellow staff members who are also cancer survivors, Mrs. Carol Hallmark and Mrs. Marie Gay.
