HCHS Class of 1968 celebrates 50th Class Reunion

(Franklin, GA) — Members of the Heard County High School Class of 1968 met at HHS on Saturday, August 18 to celebrate their 50th Class Reunion.

In honor of the 13 deceased class members, photos of each were also on display at the reunion.

There were 47 members of the class and the officers were Pat Lipham (Class President), Randy Randolph (Vice-President), and Joel Rogers (Secretary).

The Brave basketball team finished with a sparkling 22-4 record that season and a sign at the reunion quipped “We never lost a football game.” (The Brave football program did not start until the 1970’s)

Class member and current Franklin Mayor Joel Rogers gave the group a guided tour of the new Heard County High School.
