HCMS Internet Safety Week Poster Contest

HEARD COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS OBSERVE INTERNET SAFETY WEEK…WEEK OF AUGUST 22-26

THEME – “ONE CLICK OF THE MOUSE”

     Heard County Middle School designated the week of August 22nd through August 26th as Internet Safety Week.  Middle School students participated in week-long activities highlighted by a visit from Officers Derrick Walston and Debra Williamson from the Heard County Sheriff’s Department on Thursday, August 21st to share important internet safety tips.  The week concluded with a poster contest displaying artwork that portrayed our theme – “One Click of the Mouse”.  The winners received cash prizes and the winners are pictured below…CONGRATULATIONS!!  The absolutely amazing winning artwork was placed on display at the middle school.

First Place Winner – Maggie McMahan (7th grader)

Second Place Winner – Riley Curbow (8th grader)

Third Place Winner – Cheyenne Hallmark (6th grader)

Honorable Mention – Miranda Bowman (7th grader)
