HCMS National Honor Society Students Travel to NYC

HCMS NY(New York City, NY) — As this year’s summer vacation draws to a close, many people wonder what our Heard County students did over their summer break.

Some of the top Heard County Middle School students had the amazing opportunity to travel to New York City.

Students who travelled were 8th grade members of the school’s National Junior Honor Society.

The group spent three days seeing the sights of America’s most famous big city.

The Heard County chapter of the National Junior Honor Society is co-sponsored by Melissa Buchanan and Kimberly Stallings.

This school year’s upcoming 8th grade members will travel to Philadelphia with a side tour of Amish country.

The school’s honor society has also traveled to Washington, D.C. and Boston in recent years.
