The 6th Annual Heard County Athletic Booster Silent Auction will take place Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Heard High School Cafeteria. All proceeds from this event will go to support Heard High School athletics.
Tickets are $50 each which includes admission to the auction, a very nice dinner, and a raffle ticket from which cash prizes will be drawn. This years prizes include prizes of $2500 cash, $1000 cash, and three $500 drawings.
You do not have to be present to win the cash prizes so even if you cannot attend you can still be a big winner and help support the athletic programs.
The dinner will be provided by the Culinary Arts program at the high school headed up by Chef Brady Tillman. This event requires a lot of participation from the entire community to be successful and there are many ways in which you can help.
In addition to buying tickets, donations of items for the auction are also needed. The athletic booster club asks that businesses and individuals consider making donations of items that can be auctioned off.
Your donation is completely tax deductible and items of any type are appreciated such as jewelry, home furnishings, entertainment passes, memorabilia, services, gift baskets, gift certificates, crafts, children’s items, monetary donations, and much more. Try to think outside the box as many different items will always make for a more successful auction.
A large donation item such as a car would be greatly appreciated as it would really help to generate a big response to the auction. If you as an individual or a business are able to make a donation you will receive publicity prior to, during, and after the event.
If you have any questions about making a donation you may contact Lori Cabe at the high school at (706)675-3656.
If you have any further questions you can e-mail Coach Tim Barron at email@example.com. On behalf of all the children, faculty, friends, and parents of Heard High School we appreciate any and all support you may be able to give.
Tickets may be purchased from athletes, parents, or coaches as well as the schools. It truly takes the whole community to make an event of this magnitude a success.
We look forward to seeing everyone March 23rd. Thank you to everyone for your continued support of our Heard County athletic programs.
