Heard County Election Update

(Franklin, GA) — The Board of Elections and Registration is preparing for the General Election Runoff on January 5, 2021.

Remember that if you did not vote in the General Election you CAN vote in the Runoff.

If you are not sure about whether you are registered to vote, NOW is the best time to check your status.

There were over 2,000 registered voters in Heard County that did not vote in the General Election. What is your excuse for not voting?

To check your voting status, you may go to https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov/MVP/mvp.do.

This site also has valuable information concerning voting.

Absentee ballots are being mailed out at this time. If you wish to receive an application for an absentee ballot, you may request one from the Elections Office.

You may also apply for an absentee ballot online at https://ballotrequest.sos.ga.gov/.

As a reminder, there is NO Saturday Voting for the Runoff. Early Voting will be held in the Elections Office on the following dates:

December 14 – 18:   8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

December 21 – 23:   8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

December 28 – 31:   8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
