Heard County firefighters are trading in their blue shirts for pink in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
For the entire month of October, Heard County Fire & Emergency Services will try to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer by allowing members to purchase and wear the pink shirts in place of their normal duty shirts.
Heard County Fire & Emergency Services will donate all funds raised by the sale of the shirts to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure program.
