Heard County students return for a new school year

Heard County school buses were rolling again early this morning as the Heard County School System started the new school year.

2045 students are enrolled at the Heard County School System for the 2013-2014 school year including 597 at Heard High School, 475 at at Heard Middle School, 673 at Heard Elementary, 181 at Centralhatchee Elementary, and 129 at Ephesus Elementary.

    Last year we had 1,955, that is 90 more this year than last. At a cost last year of 8,751.27 per student.
