(Franklin,GA) – As usual for homecoming, an extra-large crowd packed into Staples Stadium last night to see which one of the Seniors would be crowned this year’s homecoming queen. The Class of 2012 nominated five outstanding girls for the honor and the entire high school then voted for their favorite.

Ms. Katie Lego, 17, was crowned as the queen during halftime of the football game by last year’s queen Ms. Tiana Spearman. Katie, who plays first base for the Lady Braves softball team, was very excited and honored to be chosen as this year’s queen by her fellow students. Ms. Jessica McQuain was awarded 1st Runner-Up and another Lady Brave softball playerMs. Kayla Banks was voted as 2nd Runner-Up.

It was an exciting event and night for the Brave Nation and was capped off by the football team’s 33-0 defeat of the Jordan Red Jackets. Congrats to all the wonderful participants in this year’s homecoming festivities!
