HHS Visual Arts Department hosting first Art Show

(Franklin) — Mr. Clint Robinson, the teacher of visual arts at the high school, has teamed up with several students to organize an art show for the end of the current semester.

This show will showcase the progression of the students’ art as well as how they have flourished under the mentorship of Mr. Robinson.

The Art Show will also offer the students’ the opportunity to sell their art.

In addition, those in attendance will have the chance to nominate artists for the People’s Choice award, in which three students will be specially recognized for their work at the end of the show.

Since Mr. Robinson’s arrival at our high school the art program has made leaps and bounds within the classes and the new techniques being offered and utilized.

Mr. Robinson’s plan for the Art Club and art students is for them to improve their communication skills through art and make an impact on the community.

Mr. Clint Robinson is in the process of broadening interest in the art program and giving the students more opportunities to express themselves through art.
