Historical Society meeting to feature local authors Pollard and Carlisle

(Franklin, GA) — What is your story? For sure, everyone has one.

If you could share anything with your children, your family, your church and neighbors, what would it be?

Do you love fiction or love history—or mix them up and write historical fiction?

How about a children’s book, or a lovely sci-fi encounter? Better yet, a good mystery to cuddle up with on a cold night?

We all have a story to tell. It might not be a long one that would end up book-sized, it might turn out to be a collection of stories.

Grandchildren always love to hear about “when you were a little girl (or boy)”, so why not make a collection of your memories? Memoirs are always a treasured topic.

Getting published is easier now than ever. Pick up that pen, open that laptop, and start telling your story!

Becky Carlisle and Cheryl Pollard both of whom are Heard County authors, will be telling their publishing stories and giving tips and ideas at the March meeting of the Heard County Historical Society at 5:30 PM on Thursday, March 21 at Three Rivers (formerly Chatt-Flint) RDC meeting room.

After the program a light supper will be served. Members and interested citizens are invited.
