(Hogansville, GA) — According to a press release issued by the Troup County Sheriff’s Office, on August 12, 2014 a traffic stop was conducted on Chance Lewis Gaddy on Sims Rd at East Main Street in Hogansville.
Reports indicate that Gaddy had eight warrants for his arrest for various drug charges. During the traffic stop Gaddy gave consent to search the vehicle and the passenger also gave consent to search the items that belonged to her inside the vehicle.
Inside the vehicle a clear plastic sandwich bag that contained approx seven grams of Methamphetamine, a set of AWS digital scales, numerous new sandwich bags, and a clear glass smoking device containing Methamphetamine residue. These items were taken into evidence.
Gaddy was placed under arrest and transported to the Troup County Sheriff’s Office without incident to be booked on the above listed warrants along with Possession of Methamphetamine With Intent To Distribute, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Possession of Tools Used During the Commission of a Crime.
