(Heard County, GA) — Local authorities say the location of a missing woman’s car is the biggest key to solving her recent disappearance.

27-year-old Heard County resident Natalie Jones was last seen near Jackson’s Gap in east Alabama last Sunday, July 5.

Heard County Sheriff’s Office lead Investigator Lt. Dan Boswell says the last connection with her cell phone took place in an area between the Franklin, Ephesus, and Frolona communities in Heard County.

Lt. Boswell confirmed that a Georgia State Patrol aviation team searched the area extensively via helicopter Wednesday for Jones, but with no viable evidence of her current whereabouts being determined yet — any search remains difficult.

The investigator says locating Jones’s Hot Pink 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier with blue stripes and Georgia License Plate RVE6177 is most crucial to the investigation. He asks that any member of the public call 911 immediately if they see or have seen the car pictured in the above photo.

Boswell says it is very important that if someone does locate the vehicle that it remain untouched and undisturbed prior to the arrival of law enforcement.

“If we can locate Natalie’s car, we know that will bring us much closer to finding her,” says Lt. Boswell.

Information and photos of Natalie Jones have been shared through numerous Georgia and Alabama media outlets and other online resources this week. Jones is the mother of two young children and her family remains hopeful that she will be located soon.

Natalie’s family members have also been active on social media in hopes that someone in the community may have seen witnessed something important to the case.

“My family is out of their minds. We can’t eat. We can’t sleep. We can’t think straight,” said her sister, Tabitha Jones in a Facebook post late Wednesday night.

“And all that’s running through my mind at this point is… What is Nat feeling? What is she thinking? Is she scared? Is she cold? Is she hungry? Is she praying that we will find her? Is she hurt? I just don’t know what to think or do anymore. Please Nat come home to us. Please God bring my little sister back to me.”

Natalie Jones stands 5-feet, 3-inches tall, and weighs around 130 pounds. She has blue eyes and below shoulder length brown hair with blond highlights.

She has multiple tattoos including “Isaac” on her left wrist, “Trent” on her right wrist, a Star diagram from shoulder to shoulder on her back, along with “Trent” and a baby foot print on her right foot.

She was last known to be wearing a pink blouse with white shorts, and black sandals with a bow. Her toenails are painted red with a fireworks pattern.

According to the BOLO released in the case, Natalie Jones has been diagnosed as bi-polar and schizophrenic but is currently not believed to be on any medications.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Natalie Jones, you are asked to call Lt. Dan Boswell at 706-675-3329 or Heard County 911.

She use to be in my youth group years ago, praying psalms 91 over her!!!

My cousin is a longtime good friend of her brother. Please know her sister has started a “Bring Natalie Home” GoFundMe campaign to raise reward money for information and/or her safe return. She has 2 children and the entire family is, quite obviously, very distraught. You can find this campaign on Facebook and GoFundMe.com. It’s 4th of July week; have Florida law enforcement authorities been notified as well? That is a very distinctive car! Even if you haven’t seen her… how could anyone forget seeing that car?
