Information on the General Election Runoff

(Franklin, GA) — There will be a General Election Runoff to be held December 4, 2018.

If you were eligible to vote in the General Election, you may vote in the Runoff. If you did not vote in the General Election on November 6, 2018, you MAY vote in this Runoff Election. You may check your registration status at the following web site: https://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov

Early Voting for the Runoff will take place November 26 – 30, 2018 from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM in the Elections and Registration Office (located in the Heard Health Center).

Absentee ballots will be available Monday November 26, 2018, but the Elections and Registration Office is currently accepting applications. If you received an absentee ballot for the General Election and are either disabled or 65 years of age or older, you will automatically receive a ballot for the Runoff. The last day you may apply for an absentee ballot is November 30, 2018.

If you would like an application for an absentee ballot, you may call the Elections and Registration Office and one will be sent to you. You may also download a printable application at the following website: http://sos.ga.gov/admin/uploads/absentee_ballot_app_201431.pdf

The application must be signed and returned to the Elections and Registration Office. You may either hand deliver, mail, fax, or e-mail the application to:
