Sarah Emily McCrary

The members of the chapter are very pleased that Sarah will represent the chapter at the Georgia State Conference in the Spring of 2020.

Sarah was nominated at the recent chapter meeting.

She was unanimously elected by the membership because of her dedication to the goals and purpose of the NSDAR.

Sarah is a 4th generation member of the NSDAR and currently serves as Chapter Chairman of the DAR Museum Committee.

In the spring, Sarah served the Georgia State Society at their annual State Conference at the Evergreen Resort inside Stone Mountain, where she was the Personal Page to Honorary State Regent, Barbara Chastain.

She currently works full time at the First Bank of Pike in Zebulon, Georgia.

Sarah is also involved in the college program at First Baptist Church of Barnesville and enjoys helping others through her mission trips, both at home and abroad.

Junior members in the NSDAR are women ages 18 to 35. The Outstanding Junior Contest began in 1963 to recognize and honor young women who have truly promoted the aims and purposes of the National Society, as well as participation in their community activities.

Consider joining your local DAR chapter so that you can make a difference in our community. We have trained members that can assist you in finding your American patriot. Maybe you can be the next Outstanding Junior!
