Jordan is the son of Keith and Ginger Cornelius of Carrollton, Georgia.

The DAR Good Citizen program recognizes outstanding young people who exhibit the qualities of good citizenship in their homes, schools, and communities.

The student selected as the school’s DAR Good Citizen must possess the following qualities: Dependability, Service, Leadership, and Patriotism.

Jordan’s peers, the students in the Heard County High School Class of 2019, selected him for this award.

As a senior, Jordan is very busy with his classes at Heard County.

He is Band Captain, plays on the school’s tennis team, President of the National Honor Society, Senior Class President, and currently ranked #1 in his class. Jordan and family attend the First Baptist Church of Franklin.

Jordan’s future plans include enrolling at the University of West Georgia where he will major in Political Science before transferring to the University of Georgia to pursue a law degree.

Each chapter in the NSDAR is allowed to honor one student from each local high school each year. Our chapter is so pleased to honor Jordan Cornelius this year as our DAR Good Citizen for Heard County High School Class of 2019.

As our recipient of this award, Jordan will receive a DAR Good Citizen pin, a certificate, and a scholarship to be awarded in 2019. We would like to thank Becky Roberts, counselor at Heard County High School, for her continued support of this award program.
