(Franklin, GA) — The Kiwanis Club of Heard County is preparing for the first annual “Haunted Hustle” 5K and fun run on October 6.

It will be held at the Heard County Recreation Department.

The Tot Trot will begin at 8:30 followed by the 5K at 9:00 AM.

All revenues generated by this event will be used for the benefit of children in Heard County.

It is not too late to register for this event. Everyone that pays their admission fee will get a T-shirt.

Registration fee for the Tot Trot is $10.00, and the fee for the 5K is $25.00.

At the September 27, 2018 meeting, the Kiwanis Club of Heard County installed new officers for the 2018-2019 year: President, Cindy Putzek; Vice-President, Renae Taylor; Secretary, Tonnie Adams; Treasurer, Kim Harper; Immediate Past-President, Jay Willis; Board Members, Sandra Nolen and Jenny Googe.

The Kiwanis Club is seeking members that want to impact the lives of children in Heard County.
