The Lady Braves (5-AA) got into the win column at home Saturday night where they defeated East Coweta (3-AAAAAA) 68-57.
Jemeka Parks once again led the way offensively scoring 25 points including three 3-pointers in the first half.
The other half of the Parks twin sister tandem also came up big scoring 16. Shemeka Parks battled hard all night taking the ball to the basket and getting to the foul line where she made 12 of 16.
Senior Jasmine Cook also contributed 11 points. The score was not all that indicative of the outcome as Coach Valeree Williams was able to get lots of valuable minutes for her bench.
Whitney Emory scored six, Ashley Denton notched three, and Senior Christina Cole had two. The Lady Braves led by 18 points at the half.
